About the position

Are you a certified Scrum Master with a PMP and a passion for leading dynamic marketing projects? MFUSED, a leading cannabis company based in Scottsdale, is seeking a contract Scrum Master to oversee and drive the successful execution of our marketing campaigns and product launches. This 3-month contract role is perfect for a seasoned project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering impactful results in the cannabis industry. In this role, you will lead the entire project lifecycle for marketing campaigns and product launches, ensuring all phases from conception to execution are on track. You will develop and manage detailed timelines for all project phases, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated, and deadlines are met. As a facilitator of Scrum processes, you will lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to keep cross-functional teams aligned and projects on track. Collaboration is key, as you will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination across teams such as creative, digital, and research. Regularly assessing project progress, you will analyze key performance indicators to ensure goals are met and adjust scopes, schedules, or budgets as necessary. Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders is crucial, as you will provide clear communication and address any concerns that arise. You will also establish processes for managing project scope and mitigating risks, ensuring projects meet quality and performance standards. Regular updates to leadership will be part of your responsibilities, reporting on project outcomes and escalating issues as necessary. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Marketing Project Execution: Oversee the entire project lifecycle for marketing campaigns and product launches, ensuring all phases from conception to execution are on track.
  • Develop and Manage Marketing Timelines: Build and manage detailed timelines for all project phases, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated, and deadlines are met.
  • Facilitate Scrum Processes: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to keep cross-functional teams aligned and projects on track.
  • Coordinate Resources: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination across teams such as creative, digital, and research.
  • Analyze Project Status: Regularly assess project progress, analyzing key performance indicators to ensure goals are met. Adjust scopes, schedules, or budgets as necessary.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear communication and addressing any concerns.
  • Scope and Risk Management: Establish processes for managing project scope and mitigating risks, ensuring projects meet quality and performance standards.
  • Reporting and Escalation: Provide regular updates to leadership, reporting on project outcomes and escalating issues as necessary.

Requirements

  • PMP Certification: Required, with proven experience in project management.
  • Scrum Master Certification: Strongly preferred, with practical experience leading Agile teams.
  • Project Management Experience: Minimum of 4 years, with a focus on marketing or advertising projects.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with web technologies, social media platforms, digital marketing best practices, and email marketing strategies.
