About the position

As a Senior Project Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will lead a software development team focused on modernizing critical projects for the Intelligence Community. Your role will involve applying Agile best practices to manage multiple models, ensuring successful project progression and delivery. You will utilize tools like JIRA and Confluence to track progress and facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ultimately contributing to national security through effective modeling and simulation of tactical systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a development team to focus on sprint goals for multiple models.
• Gather and document technical and business requirements for various projects.
• Drive client delivery and engage with client management.
• Utilize JIRA and Confluence to manage and report progress on key tasks.
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience as a project manager of a software development team, or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements for multiple, simultaneous, and related models.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience driving client delivery and engaging with client management.
• Secret clearance.

• Knowledge of the project management framework.
• Knowledge of agency or intelligence community and IT infrastructures.
