The Project Manager/Sr. Civil Engineer position is a full-time role based in Wilkes Barre, PA, focusing on civil land development. The ideal candidate will lead projects for clients in both public and private sectors, ensuring successful project completion while managing client relationships and collaborating with team members. As a Project Manager/Sr. Civil Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design of subdivisions and land development, navigating the zoning and approvals process, and managing stormwater, site design, grading, and erosion and sediment control plans. The role also involves preparing project proposals, managing contracts, and overseeing invoicing. The candidate will be expected to hire, mentor, and manage junior engineers and designers, ensuring that all projects meet the required standards and deadlines. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various team members, including project managers, engineers, and CAD technicians, are essential for success in this role. Requirements

  • B.S. Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer license
  • Prior land development experience required
  • Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills
  • Prior project and client management experience
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Valid driver's license - for travel to client sites/meetings
  • Ability to attend evening meetings
  • Ability to obtain clearances (for PA school projects)
