Isett provides a full range of engineering and consulting services, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, environmental, geotechnical, and municipal engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, construction materials testing, and grant writing services to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking a Project Manager/Sr. Civil Engineer with land development experience to lead projects for clients in both the public and private sectors. The position can be based in our Wilkes-Barre, Olyphant, or Hazleton offices. The ideal candidate will be a Professional (Civil) Engineer with at least five years of experience in the design and management of land development projects. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various team members, including project managers, engineers, and CAD technicians/designers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all aspects of land development are executed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing client relationships, navigating the zoning and approvals process, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and designers, preparing project proposals, and managing contracts, reports, and invoicing.

Requirements

  • B.S. Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer license
  • Prior land development experience required
  • Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills
  • Prior project and client management experience
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Valid driver's license - for travel to client sites/meetings
  • Ability to attend evening meetings
  • Ability to obtain clearances (for PA school projects)
