About the position

The Sr. Project Manager - Organizational Value Management is responsible for managing the implementation of strategic projects that deliver significant value to Hoag. This role involves applying best practices in project management to oversee complex initiatives that impact operations and support strategic goals. The Sr. Project Manager will lead project teams to develop solutions that provide transformational value, ensuring projects are executed with integrity and transparency while driving benefits realization aligned with the organization's strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of projects focused on delivering strategic value to Hoag.
  • Concurrently manage multiple projects at various stages in the project life cycle to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Anticipate the needs of project sponsors and deliver high-quality results proactively.
  • Apply full lifecycle project management processes and tools using OVM's Project Management Methodology.
  • Conduct research on new concepts and subject matter related to assigned projects.
  • Use communication skills and executive presence to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations that clearly convey project narratives.
  • Conduct interviews to understand current and future project states and identify gaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience in project management OR High School Diploma/GED and at least 10 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional, and enterprise-wide change efforts that produced significant business results.
  • Demonstrated success managing a variety of project types across all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Executive presence with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, effective with all levels of personnel.
