About the position

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating projects throughout their life cycle, ensuring high quality and on-time performance. The role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously and working closely with the Director of Field Operations to meet manpower needs and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Director of Field Operations to identify and obtain manpower needs related to assigned projects.
• Initiates, supports and participates in negotiations with prospective customers.
• Analyzes situations and develops plans, delivery timelines and schedules.
• Defines customer requirements and translates them into operational plans.
• Monitors and controls cost versus budget, plans versus performance and field staffing requirements.
• Analyzes effects of projects upon various operating and support areas to determine the most practical and cost-effective method to complete the project.
• Provides direction and guidance to project teams in the execution of projects, including the formulation of contingency plans.
• Communicates with internal and external customers as needed for project success.
• Ability to travel out-of-town as needed to assigned project sites.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Manager experience with state department experience required.
• Working on United States Army Corps of Engineers experience preferred.
• Ability to secure and maintain Department of Defense Security Clearance.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (drug and background) and have a valid driver's license.
