About The Position
The Berlin Steel Construction Company is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects at our West Chester, PA location. As a full-service specialty contractor, we design, fabricate, and erect structures primarily in the Northeast and other regions across the country. Our company operates two fabrication facilities, four erection operations facilities, and six office locations, all of which contribute to the engineering and management of our projects. Being a 100% employee-owned company (ESOP), we are committed to growth and excellence in servicing the private commercial, public, institutional, and industrial markets. In this role, the Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of construction projects, ensuring that project objectives are established and met. This includes developing a comprehensive management plan and acting as a liaison between contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. The Project Manager will also be tasked with managing and monitoring Berlin Steel's subcontract for construction, which encompasses all technical and financial aspects of the projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in the structural steel and miscellaneous metals sectors, and will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in reading shop and erection drawings. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both internal and external customers. Strong computer skills are also essential for this position, as they will be utilized in various aspects of project management.
