About the position

The Project Manager, Studio Production Technology at NBCUniversal is responsible for overseeing project management within the Film & Television production groups. This role focuses on the planning and implementation of projects aimed at modernizing tools, technologies, and services for studio production. The project manager acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring effective communication and project delivery across various divisions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to drive business requirements and analyze data and processes.
• Support and facilitate technology requests for supported business groups.
• Plan the prioritization and execution of application projects and enhancements.
• Prepare project documentation such as meeting minutes, business process documentation, and workflow diagrams.
• Support application improvement projects including user acceptance testing, user training, and demonstrations.
• Support day-to-day operational activities across the landscape of applications utilized by supported business groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in supporting Studio / TV / Film platforms and operations.
• 5+ years of experience in developing software solutions to address business needs.
• 5+ years of experience in project management and/or business analysis.
• 5+ years of experience in application production support and change management processes.
• Expertise in production and post-production technologies and workflows.
• Strong coordination and teamwork skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Good understanding of system architecture, infrastructure, integration, and security technologies.
• Experience in a high-stress and demanding environment of a 24/7 operation.
