About the position

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to guide the team from design through decision-making and construction in the Oklahoma City, OK area. This role involves working through the certification process on residential multifamily construction projects, while diligently maintaining knowledge regarding building science principles, energy code, and water efficiency. The Project Manager will also be responsible for maintaining job-related certifications, ensuring that all projects meet the necessary standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as effective communication is crucial for this role. Project Managers are expected to interact with a variety of stakeholders, including developers, design teams, general contractors, trades in the field, building management staff, and municipal officials. The ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong organizational skills is essential for success in this position. In addition to coordinating and communicating with teams, the Project Manager will manage approximately 20 projects at various phases of design, planning, construction, inspection, and testing. This includes supervising and overseeing complex residential multi-story construction projects that may involve mixed-use components. The Project Manager will be responsible for site and material oversight for residential buildings ranging from 2 to 30+ stories. Candidates should be self-motivated and self-directed, with the ability to work collaboratively with others. Public speaking or presenting in small groups is considered a plus, as it may be necessary to communicate project updates and protocols effectively to various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the team from design through decision-making and construction.
  • Work through the certification process on residential multifamily construction projects.
  • Maintain knowledge of building science principles, energy code, and water efficiency.
  • Attend design meetings and perform accurate plan reviews.
  • Communicate protocol requirements effectively to design teams.

Requirements

  • Experience on metal builds, garden style offices, or multifamily/mixed-use projects.
  • Experience as both a Superintendent and a Project Manager is a plus.
  • Strong software skills, particularly in Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated and possess strong organizational skills.
