About the position

The Project Manager - System Integration role at JD.com involves overseeing the system integration lifecycle, ensuring seamless compatibility between merchant systems and the company's platform. The position requires strong project management skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders to deliver successful integration projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand and gather system integration requests from merchants, delivering and proposing a development request to the HQ team in Beijing.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate and manage all parts of the system integration lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, and testing.
• Act as the primary point of contact between merchants and internal teams to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
• Oversee technical aspects of system integration to ensure seamless compatibility and operation between merchant systems and our platform.
• Facilitate regular meetings and updates to keep stakeholders informed of project status, changes, and any issues.
• Write and maintain technical documentation related to system integration projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management, particularly in system integration.
• Strong understanding of system integration best practices in B2C and B2B environments.
• Experience with gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across various disciplines, including engineering, IT, and merchant services.
• Solid technical background with familiarity in ERP systems, web technologies, and relational databases.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent Chinese and English speaking skills.
