About the position

The Project Manager - Talent Acquisition role is focused on leading various projects related to recent acquisitions within the Global Talent functions, specifically in Talent Acquisition and Talent Management. This position requires a strategic mindset to plan and execute the deal strategy effectively. The Project Manager will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define the strategy and plan for the integration of talent functions. Coordination of execution activities will involve collaboration with Global Talent teams, HR teams, and other business functions such as Legal and Procurement, as well as engaging with vendors and resources from the target company. In this role, the Project Manager will be responsible for developing, tracking, and maintaining comprehensive reporting on the project plan, progress, risks, and dependencies. This includes creating communication and change management materials to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process. The position also involves ad hoc activities related to the integration within Talent sub-functions, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the organization. This is a contract position expected to last between 6 to 12 months, making it essential for the Project Manager to have a strong background in M&A implementation within HR and Talent areas, as well as the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage time effectively amidst competing priorities and aggressive timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead various projects simultaneously to plan and execute the deal strategy for Global Talent functions, mainly Talent Acquisition and Talent Management.
  • Work closely with SMEs to define strategy and plan.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of M&A implementation experience in HR and/or Talent area.
  • Experience leading multiple, complex regional and global projects.
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to multi-task and manage time with competing priorities and aggressive timelines.
  • Ability to critically analyze an issue using data and process-based evidence.
  • Experience working in a large, global, and matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional experience with problem solving.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Familiarity with talent and performance management process and systems (Workday) is a plus.
