About the position
The Project Manager/Technical Lead for Cybersecurity at Syneren Technologies Corporation is responsible for overseeing all contractor work performed under the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This role serves as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), ensuring effective communication and resolution of technical issues within a specified timeframe. The position is remote and requires availability during standard business hours.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the COR.
- Oversee all contractor work performed under the PWS.
- Respond to requests for discussion or resolution of technical problems within 24 hours of notification.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Federal IT security policies and implementation standards.
- Apply IT security concepts, methodologies, principles, and procedures using industry-standard tools.
Requirements
- B.S./B.A. degree
- 6 years of experience in a related field
- Comprehensive understanding of U.S. Federal IT security policies and NIST guidance
- Familiarity with the NESDIS mission and major programs
- Proficiency in applying IT security concepts and methodologies
- One or more relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, GSNA, CAP, CISSP, CCSP, CISA, or CCSK.
