The Team Lead (Project Manager/Technical Lead) position in Tallahassee, FL, is a critical role that involves overseeing and managing application development projects within a dynamic environment. The candidate will be expected to create comprehensive Project Implementation Plans, ensuring that all project milestones are met and that the team is aligned with the overall project goals. The role also involves regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and to address any challenges that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading application development projects, with a strong focus on Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM. Additionally, the Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring that best practices in application and database security are followed, and that the team is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage application development projects or teams.
• Create and implement Project Implementation Plans.
• Analyze and interpret user requirements for project development.
• Communicate technical and business information clearly and concisely.
• Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Utilize Agile methodologies, including SCRUM, to guide project execution.
• Ensure adherence to application and database security best practices.
• Facilitate team meetings and address any impediments promptly.
• Estimate daily tasks for the team and prioritize effectively.
• Utilize development tools and components such as .Net Framework, ASP.Net, and MS SQL Server.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience leading and managing application development projects or teams.
• Proficient in .Net Framework, ASP.Net, C#, MVC, Entity Framework, web services, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Knockout, Angular, and Kendo.
• Strong knowledge of application and database security concerns.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, SQL queries, stored procedures, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Familiarity with Windows Authentication and Web Application login security.
• Experience with Visual Studio Unit Testing Framework or other unit testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
• Strong skills in leading technology projects and teams.
• Ability to create detailed Project Implementation Plans.
• Proficient in using DevOps tools and practices.
• Excellent time-management and task prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
