About the position

The IT Project Manager is responsible for implementing, managing, and controlling all project directives related to federal contracts. This role ensures the timely accomplishment of specified requirements while collaborating with senior management to establish program priorities. The Project Manager oversees contract personnel and operates within established policies and budgetary constraints, focusing on delivering support services for Azure Cloud Development, Data Engineering, Cyber Security, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Project Management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all aspects of project management are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Review project proposals or plans to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare project charts and schedules as needed and perform job cost analysis.
  • Maintain solid customer relationships and assure customer satisfaction with project execution.
  • Manage and assist in developing and maintaining IT programs according to approved design requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure employees are equipped to handle complex work assignments requiring innovative solutions.
  • Coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs), including cost estimates and proposals.
  • Implement industry best practices, project management tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in a Project Management role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing enterprise IT support projects for the Federal Government is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), CPIC, SDLC, IT Security Management, and Risk Management.
