About the position

The Project Manager (Telecom Installations) will oversee and coordinate telecom projects from start to finish within a rapidly growing IT Implementation company. This role involves managing project timelines, customer interactions, and technical coordination in a fast-paced environment, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve operational objectives by meticulously tracking projects from inception to completion, ensuring accurate information for billing.
  • Respond to inbound calls from customers, field technicians, and other staff.
  • Coordinate site surveys, installations, and post-installation support, and follow through to project completion.
  • Support customer requests to migrate POTs services to a VOIP service.
  • Confirm site visits, order equipment, document all project costs, and follow up with clients.
  • Assign, schedule, and interact with Field Service Technicians, the Build Team, internal staff, and clients to ensure seamless installations.
  • Schedule telephone numbering porting and turn-up of services, including managing vendors as needed.
  • Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving actions to meet cost standards.
  • Document issues, resolve problems, complete audits, identify trends, and collaborate with the project management team to implement system improvements.
  • Maintain customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns and answering questions promptly.
  • Organize projects, manage project files, and ensure accurate and detailed documentation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a project manager.
  • Strong work ethic, customer service skills, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project and process management.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience or knowledge in order processing.
  • Ability to coordinate both technical and non-technical aspects of projects.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with advanced spreadsheet skills.
