About the position

The Project Manager at Connection is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of medium to large IT projects, ensuring effective communication and adherence to project management methodologies. This role involves collaboration across various teams, assisting in project planning and scoping, and mentoring junior project staff. The position is hybrid, allowing for a mix of remote and on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Provides project management services for medium to large moderately complex service delivery projects, including servers, route/switch, cloud provisioning, imaging, and IT equipment.
• Acts as the primary point of communication for projects, ensuring all phases are followed according to established methodologies.
• Assists clients and the sales team in planning, scoping, scheduling, and determining requirements during the pre-sales phase.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers and Project Coordinators to foster team development.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT service delivery.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, especially waterfall.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams and client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
