About the position

The Project Manager - Tool Management will oversee various projects under the Director of Tool Management Optimization, ensuring that teams are organized and assignments are completed on time. This role involves managing project documentation, utilizing 6 sigma tools for project validation, and collaborating with Tool OEMs and SMEs to define project scopes and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously that involve multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain a project plan, including project requirements, technical solutions, resource plans, work plans, and estimated project duration/effort.
  • Monitor all project activity, budget, and resources to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Effectively communicate project status, roles, scope changes, issues, and risks to all project participants.
  • Understand, support, and apply standard project management tools as applicable.
  • Analyze and prioritize project activities and client needs to establish realistic deadlines.
  • Develop an understanding of customer needs and business/project objectives.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to eliminate defective processes and introduce better control inputs and changes.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Black Belt certification preferred.
  • 3 years of experience leading projects, supervising or coordinating team projects required.
  • 3 years of experience managing technical solutions and projects required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project Manager.
  • Query capabilities in Qlik, Excel, SQL.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead and manage required.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong organizational skills.
