About the position

The Project Manager for Virtual Events at Kaltura will lead the implementation of the company's SaaS Event Platform and applications, focusing on delivering exceptional virtual event experiences for clients. This role involves managing the customer implementation process from post-sale through event day, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with various internal teams and external customers. The position requires a consultative approach and a deep understanding of Kaltura's Event Platform, all while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer implementation process from post-sale through event day.
  • Serve as the lead contact for daily customer interaction and implementation activities.
  • Follow up with customers via email, chats, and phone to gather event setup items or other required information.
  • Create and maintain project plans within our project tracking system and update internal team members on status and next steps.
  • Assist in establishing customer goals and communicate deliverables (timelines, scope of work, etc.) both internally and externally to customers.
  • Perform kickoff calls, customer calls, or other internal and customer-facing activities.
  • Work with Implementation Managers to review application configurations and adjust per customer requirements.
  • Schedule training regarding the unique setup of customer's virtual event.

Requirements

  • Proven 5+ years of experience delivering commercial projects via a service organization.
  • Proven customer-first approach with experience managing external customers, building rapport, and communicating effectively at all levels (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Previous experience leading SaaS product implementations, with planning large events (in-person or virtual) as a bonus.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, willing to take on responsibilities and challenges proactively.
  • Effective team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
