About the position

The Project Manager/VTSU Coworking Space Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) will manage all aspects of projects within the scope of the VTSU Coworking Space. The EIR will oversee the strategic direction, establishment, operation, and success of VTSU's coworking facility in Lyndonville, building and supporting a robust and diverse membership community, and promoting VTSU and the NEK's innovation ecosystem. The EIR will provide management in the overall development and day-to-day operation of the Lyndonville Coworking Space including its personnel, budgets, and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and promote new initiatives related to the mission of the VTSU Coworking Space.
  • Develop and execute plans in response to new or assigned initiatives, including marketing, customer service, and budget development.
  • Identify resources needed for project initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and provide project oversight.
  • Develop and implement a strategic membership acquisition plan to build coworking membership.
  • Implement a coworking marketing plan to engage and inform stakeholders.
  • Connect a network of entrepreneurs, funders, members, educators, and students.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and state agencies to develop educational initiatives.
  • Maintain records and produce reports on program activities.
  • Establish and monitor the budget for the Lyndonville Coworking Space.
  • Perform duties in a standard office setting with predictable travel needs.
  • Work outside of regular business hours as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in a related environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in marketing and digital media planning.
  • Excellent organizational and business management skills.
  • Leadership experience and ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in policy application.
  • Exemplary time management skills.
  • Flexible schedule required.
