About the position

The Project Manager for S4 HANA Implementation will play a critical role in leading technology-enabled projects, specifically focusing on the implementation of the S4 HANA ERP system. This hybrid position requires a blend of in-office and remote work, allowing for flexibility while ensuring effective project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation through to closure, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Program Leads, to align project objectives with organizational goals and to manage stakeholder expectations effectively. In this role, the Project Manager will utilize their expertise in project management methodologies, including Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall, to guide the team through the implementation process. They will be expected to leverage tools such as JIRA and PowerBI for project tracking and reporting, ensuring that all project documentation is maintained accurately. The Project Manager will also be responsible for identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Strong leadership and relationship-building skills are essential, as the Project Manager will need to foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders to achieve project success. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data governance principles and practices, ensuring that data quality, consistency, and security are prioritized throughout the project. They will also be adaptable to rapid development cycles and comfortable navigating ambiguity and change. Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of S4 HANA ERP system projects from initiation to closure.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Program Leads, to align project objectives with organizational goals.
• Utilize project management tools such as JIRA and PowerBI for tracking and reporting.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to data governance principles and practices throughout the project.
• Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
• Five to seven years of project management experience, particularly with technology-enabled projects.
• Previous experience with ERP implementations, specifically S4 HANA.
• Understanding of data governance principles and practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
• Familiarity with data standards and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative).
• Advanced experience in managing projects using JIRA and PowerBI.
• Proficient with Project and Portfolio Management tools (Visio, MS Project, JIRA, Clarity).
• Strong relationship-building and leadership skills.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Skilled in budget management and collaboration with Finance and Program Leads.
