About the position

The Project Manager, Warranty plays a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive Warranty Claims process at Budderfly. This position is responsible for managing warranty claims submissions to vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and vendor requirements, and collaborating with various departments to streamline the process. The role is essential for maintaining efficient operations and contributing to the company's success in energy management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and implementation of a streamlined process for the collection and submission of warranty claims to Budderfly vendors.
  • Maintain thorough records of all warranty claims, including purchase documentation, warranty terms, and correspondence with vendors.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Fulfillment, Finance, and other key stakeholders to gather the required information for claims submissions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with vendors regarding warranty claims, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Provide training and support to Budderfly team members on the warranty claim process, ensuring clarity and understanding of procedures.
  • Track the status of warranty claims and prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of the claims process, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support changes in the warranty process that promote streamlining and quality submissions and refine warranty-related policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Perform other duties and assist in special projects as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in process development and execution of warranty claim management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with warranty claims management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in vendor management or warranty claims processing in a relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of warranty terms and conditions as they relate to equipment and technology.
