About the position

The Project Manager for Wastewater Treatment at Posillico Civil, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of wastewater treatment projects. This role emphasizes safety, budget management, and adherence to project management procedures, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget while maintaining a positive impact on the community.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning and development of all project deliverables.
  • Ensure overall job safety according to the safety manual.
  • Contact One Call for utility mark out and ensure periodic refreshing of mark out.
  • Report any damage to utility lines to the Vice President of Field Operations.
  • Ensure job-site compliance with OSHA standards and cleanliness.
  • Perform daily quantity reviews and participate in monthly estimates and payment submissions.
  • Process all estimates in a timely manner and report extra or non-contract work to the Area Manager.
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll and equipment information, submitting daily time sheets.
  • Maintain petty cash and prepare monthly cost estimates/forecasts.
  • Control material deliveries, production schedules, and coordinate with subcontractors.
  • Schedule labor and equipment with the dispatcher daily by 1:00 PM.
  • Prepare and update project construction schedules and maintain records in the field office.
  • Supervise project office staff and direct manpower.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • 6 to 10 years of related experience in wastewater treatment and construction.
  • Experience with existing wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
  • Knowledge of supported excavation systems and dewatering is a plus.
  • Experience in heavy construction, including site-work and roads.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with environmental construction projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
