About the position

The Project Manager for Water and Transportation Infrastructure at Parametrix is responsible for overseeing project activities across various disciplines, ensuring alignment with client goals and milestones. This role involves managing processes such as procurement, risk management, and document control, while leading the development of project management plans and procedures. The position offers flexibility with a hybrid work environment, allowing for mentorship and collaboration with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project activities across multiple disciplines, including owner's advisory services, procurement, construction management, and technical engineering services.
  • Ensure understanding of client goals through comprehensive project scheduling, cost estimating, risk management, and process oversight.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of project management plans and procedures to support efficient project execution.
  • Develop and align comprehensive project schedules with milestones and client goals.
  • Provide expertise in contract analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments to enhance project planning and execution strategies.
  • Participate in business development, RFP support, and client presentations to contribute to department growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive multi-disciplinary project management experience for Project Manager role.
  • 10+ years of progressive multi-disciplinary project management experience for Senior Project Manager role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience overseeing owner's advisory services, procurement strategies, and construction management.
  • Expertise in project scheduling, cost estimating, risk management, and process oversight.

Nice-to-haves

  • Alternative/collaborative delivery experience is preferred.
  • Experience with contract analysis and constructability reviews.
  • PMP or other relevant certification is preferred.
