Kennedy Jenks Consulting is seeking a Project Manager for their Lakewood, CO office, focusing on water and wastewater civil infrastructure projects. The role involves managing project technical work from planning through construction, engaging in business development, and ensuring high-quality client service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate project technical work from planning through construction for water/wastewater civil infrastructure projects.
• Lead business development efforts including client interaction, proposal preparation, and interview participation.
• Conduct project engineering work including studies, design phases, and construction support services.
• Perform project management activities such as contract negotiation, quality management, and budget oversight.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients, ensuring responsiveness to their needs.
• Collaborate with technical teams across the company to incorporate diverse expertise.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 7+ years of relevant project management experience in the water/wastewater sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of the water/wastewater industry.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service and positive client interactions.
• Experience in business development and sales.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Technical writing skills.
• Site civil design experience.
