Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and technical management over multiple water resources, supply, or treatment projects.
• Establishes and reviews time-and-hour budgets, ensuring projects meet these budgets.
• Reviews project schedules and progress periodically.
• Outlines complex problems and methods of approach for engineering teams.
• Supervises or coordinates several varied assignments simultaneously.
• Identifies potential business development opportunities with existing clients and leads the proposal process.
• Maintains relationships with clients post-project to secure future work.
• Conducts complex assignments involving planning and conducting projects of limited scope or portions of larger projects.
• Applies knowledge of engineering/scientific principles in broad areas of assignment.
• Calculates project costs and determines feasibility based on data analysis.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5-10 years' experience in water engineering, including design and management of water-related projects.
• Experience mentoring less experienced engineers.
• PE license or ability to obtain within one year in NJ required.
• Self-starter with leadership and project management skills.
• Commercial approach to project delivery.
• Skilled in technical and proposal writing.

Nice-to-haves

• Designated Design-Build Professional (DBIA) certification or experience.
