About the position

The Project Manager will oversee banking and payments projects, focusing on commercial banking and treasury operations. This role requires a product-oriented approach to understand customer experiences and operational needs, while managing dynamic project requirements and prioritizing features effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans to manage end-to-end project activities, interdependencies, and execution approach.
  • Create timelines, understand scope, risk, and dependencies, and track them.
  • Define purpose, clear roles, tasks, milestones, budgets, and measures of success.
  • Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including external vendors.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders of varying levels within the organization.
  • Lead initiatives such as commercial card feature expansion, payment products (positive pay, ACH offerings, RTP, expanding wire cutoffs), automated client onboarding, and creation of small business treasury product bundles.
  • Ensure compliance with industry risks, regulations, and controls.
  • Utilize both waterfall and agile processes and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
  • Meet deadlines, schedules, and budgeted costs.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment among project team members.

Requirements

  • Customer and product experience, with commercial bank experience in treasury management preferred (Commercial Card, Payments, New to Bank Customer Onboarding).
  • Advanced knowledge of plan development and execution, scope planning, schedule management, cost estimating and control, quality planning assurance, organizational planning, project communications, risk identification/response control, and management.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build effective relationships.
  • Knowledge of industry risks, regulations, and compliance controls.
  • Proficiency in both waterfall and agile processes and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, schedules, and budgeted costs.
