About the position

The Project Manager at Apex Water and Process, Inc. is responsible for managing and coordinating customer projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope. This role involves developing project schedules, managing change orders, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers. The Project Manager will work closely with internal teams across various departments to facilitate effective communication and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate customer projects to meet defined objectives and requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans and timelines, including milestones and review points.
• Monitor project progression and enforce deadlines to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare and present financial reports at key program milestones.
• Communicate regularly with team members and customers regarding project status, delays, and changes.
• Provide technical guidance to team members throughout project execution.
• Evaluate completed projects for efficiency and effectiveness to improve future performance.
• Report project status, risks, and performance to company leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a relevant discipline, PMP certification, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in Project Management or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and plan effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A passion for customer relations and collaboration across departments.
• Willingness to travel (~10% of the time).

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience reading contract terms & conditions, specification language, P&IDs, GA Drawings, and Electrical Schematics.
• Past work experience in industrial water treatment or other technical industries.
• Experience with project management software.
• Experience working with EPC firms.
