About the position

The Project Manager at Goedecke Flooring & Design will oversee construction projects within the Remodeling Department, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards of quality and excellence. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining client relationships and adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Review upcoming deadlines for each project and communicate needs with the construction team.
• Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
• Ensure all projects are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
• Perform quality control on the project throughout construction to maintain the expected standards.
• Adjust project schedules and work with trades as project conditions change.
• Provide clear communication with clients regarding project changes and progress.
• Ensure safety measures are being followed and the project is compliant with current building codes.
• Participate in weekly meetings with the design and construction team.
• Build strong client relationships to diffuse any negative issues.
• Coach and instruct a team of tradespeople to complete tasks within the organization's standard of excellence.
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability, and delivery dates.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years' proven work experience in Construction Project Management, Flooring & Remodeling Project Management, Installations or similar role.
• Knowledge of kitchen & bath remodeling or interior finishes (REQUIRED).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (REQUIRED).
• Bachelor's degree in business management, communications, or a similar field is a plus.

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 (based on experience)
