About the position

We are seeking a Project Manager experienced in managing drywall and metal stud framing construction projects. This role involves overseeing all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure drywall/metal stud framing is performed according to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Develop schedules for drywall/framing crews to optimize efficiency and timeliness.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.
• Coordinate material purchases, deliveries, and inventory with the senior management team.
• Conduct daily job site inspections and prepare reports.
• Ensure all drywall/framing installations meet quality standards and owner specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Project Management.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the drywall/metal framing industry.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and familiarity with estimating tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety regulations.
