About the position

The Project Manager position at CSAA Insurance Group is a remote contractor role focused on supporting the Digital Payment Transformation Initiative. The role involves managing project tasks, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for budget management, project scheduling, and providing timely updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager of the Digital Payment Transformation Initiative.
  • Accountable for the successful delivery and coordination of project tasks and artifacts.
  • Provide analytical information and reports.
  • Work on complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation and swift resolution.
  • Support cross-functional teams and external vendors across multiple geographical locations.
  • Ensure successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of projects/programs.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end users, and management.
  • Perform research and analysis on program and project requests, requirements, and feasibility.
  • Recommend enhancements and solutions to the Program or Project Manager.
  • Create and maintain project schedules and budgets, including planned vs. actual comparisons.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project activities and notify the Program Leader of necessary budget revisions.
  • Identify risks and assess their potential effects on the project.
  • Prepare and present project status reports.

Requirements

  • 4 years of project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to create and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in analyzing complex data and situations.

  • Experience in the insurance industry.
