The Project Manager position at CSAA Insurance Group is a remote contractor role focused on supporting the Digital Payment Transformation Initiative. The Project Manager will be responsible for budget management, project scheduling, and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the Program Manager of the Digital Payment Transformation Initiative.
- Accountable for the successful delivery and coordination of project tasks and artifacts.
- Provide analytical information and reports.
- Work on complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation and swift resolution.
- Support cross-functional teams and external vendors across multiple geographical locations.
- Ensure successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of projects/programs.
- Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end users, and management.
- Perform research and analysis on program and project requests, requirements, and feasibility.
- Recommend enhancements and solutions to the Program or Project Manager.
- Create and maintain project schedules and budgets, including planned vs. actual comparisons.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with stakeholders.
- Monitor project activities and notify the Program Leader of necessary budget revisions.
- Identify risks and assess their potential effects on the project.
- Prepare and present project status reports.
Requirements
- 4 years of project management experience.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Ability to create and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in analyzing complex data and situations.
