About the position
The Project Manager at Canary Systems, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of various engineering projects, particularly in the mining and civil engineering sectors. This role involves managing client relationships, developing project proposals, and coordinating project services while ensuring effective communication and leadership within a motivated team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Visit clients and explore/develop opportunities
- Manage client relations and experience
- Develop project proposals, specifications, and designs
- Prepare project documentation
- Coordinate implementation services as needed
- Coordinate support services as needed
- Coordinate training services as needed
- Prepare project/case histories for marketing & sales
- Present project/case histories at conferences/client meetings
Requirements
- Mid-level experience in project management
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, particularly Agile
- Leadership skills
- Familiarity with Python and GIS
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with geotechnical data reduction and presentation methods
- Knowledge of geotechnical instrumentation applications and installation
- Familiarity with monitoring systems including electronics and software
- Experience with survey technologies including robotics and GPS
- Scripting and database technologies
