About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to lead our projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of project management methodologies. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high quality standards. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans that outline project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Utilize PMBOK principles to manage project execution and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify potential issues and develop mitigation plans.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by applying Kaizen principles throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supervise team members, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the approved building plans.
  • Oversee subcontractors to ensure cleanliness, safety, and standards are met and exceeded.

Requirements

  • 5 years of proven experience in Construction Management with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Must have 5 years in ground up residential and remodel construction.
  • Familiarity with process management techniques and tools to optimize workflows.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Advanced understanding of codes, methods, and building practices related to residential and commercial construction.
  • Demonstrated ability in team management, fostering collaboration among diverse groups.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial oversight for projects of varying scales.
  • Knowledge of risk management practices to proactively address challenges as they arise.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, including structural plans.
  • Applicants must have a valid California drivers license and be authorized to work in the U.S.
