About the position

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the completion of milestones and program requirements in accordance with the company's schedule. This role emphasizes the coordination and execution of cross-functional projects related to new aircraft development, encompassing both technical and business aspects. The Project Manager will develop reporting tools, manage schedules, and create dashboards and presentations to facilitate executive-level decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and manages integrated program/project schedules and certification activities.
• Interfaces with Sales, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Flight Test, Finance, and other organizations to ensure company milestones are completed according to program requirements and schedule.
• Develop tools, processes, and key KPIs for executive level transparency into program performance and execution.
• Lead coordination of program meetings and decision-making process.
• Own risk, action, issue, and decision logs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or Aviation related technical field from a four-year college or university.
• 3 years of Program/Project Management experience.
• Working experience in airplane development and/or aerospace program management.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of Engineering, Production, Supplier, and Certification processes within the aviation industry is preferred.
• Experience in airplane development.
• Knowledge of business aviation industry preferred.
• Program and project management certifications are a plus.
