About the position

The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves direct management of project activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and hands-on work as necessary. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with a strong background in construction and a desire for long-term growth within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate construction activities.
  • Manage budgeting and scheduling for projects.
  • Implement project plans and perform hands-on work as required.
  • Ensure quality and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate changes with stakeholders.
  • Schedule projects logically and budget time to meet deadlines.
  • Assist with monthly billing for each project.
  • Review and approve all project submittals.
  • Complete the buy-out process and purchase materials for projects.

Requirements

  • Five years of industry experience supervising construction projects.
  • Three years of experience as a commercial construction Project Manager.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business or construction management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
  • Ability to communicate difficult information tactfully.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
