About the position

The Project Manager will provide project management expertise for design projects. Work with assigned staff to oversee all aspects of project services per the client's contract. Lead the project team to success by completing the projects on schedule, within budget, and ensuring client and staff satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects to plan, synchronize and assign work based on individual project timelines and priorities.
  • Provide QC roles as required in areas of competency.
  • Provide technical advice and or assistance as needed.
  • Perform Project Engineer duties as required.
  • Prepare project invoices and progress reports within requested time.
  • Ensure QC is completed on managed projects per the latest company QC manual.
  • Serve as PM on pursuits as requested by the Communities Group.
  • Assist in RFP responses as requested by the Communities Group.
  • Assist in updating monthly workload and revenue projections and assist in executing necessary initiatives to resolve challenges.
  • Prepare project scope, fee, and schedule as assigned.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules, and be proactive in identifying challenges to be mitigated.
  • Capable of leading the owner/client on prime contracts through a successful project with minimal supervision.
  • Assume other duties as directed by the Team Lead.
  • Support and maintain the morale, welfare, professional development, training, and work-life balance of all assigned staff utilizing the Company's Guiding Principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program
  • Registered Professional Engineer required
  • Project Management experience is preferred
  • 8-15 years of relevant design experience
  • Relevant technology/software experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
