About the position

The Project Manager will oversee multiple large strategic projects in the industrial sector, specifically focusing on rigging and millwright tasks. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, including estimating, planning, and supervising subcontracted services. The Project Manager will also be responsible for contract negotiations, invoicing, and ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple large strategic projects from start to finish.
• Estimate and plan project requirements and resources.
• Set up professional subcontracted services such as electrical, mechanical, and cranes.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Handle invoicing and maintain accurate project records.
• Conduct weekly progress meetings with staff to ensure project milestones are met.
• Support other projects with engineering and technical knowledge.
• Prepare safety work instructions, procedures, and job hazard analyses (JHA's) for the project.
• Provide leadership to the project team both in the office and in the field.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management with rigging/industrial experience.
• Strong communication skills in dealing with customers, field employees, and subcontractors.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage projects throughout the United States as necessary.

Nice-to-haves

• CAD experience is a strong plus.
