About the position

The Project Manager at Awning & Sign Contractors is responsible for overseeing various project activities, ensuring effective communication among team members, and managing project timelines and deliverables. This role involves coordinating with engineers, project coordinators, graphic designers, production teams, and installers to meet project objectives and maintain customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities for engineers, project coordinators, graphic designers, production, and installers.
• Make initial site calls to confirm restrictions, construction dates, and available survey dates.
• Issue work orders and purchase orders as needed.
• Facilitate communication between subcontractors and the sales team.
• Maintain constant communication with customers.
• Compile survey information to ensure accurate drawings for the project.
• Review production drawings and confirm accuracy with the surveyor.
• Obtain approval for production drawings from the customer.
• Initiate production for approved jobs.
• Coordinate installations and deliveries.
• Track job progress and provide timely updates to the team.
• Secure permits if required for the job.
• Complete ten and two-day calls to confirm readiness for installation.
• Actively communicate with the Account Manager and customer regarding any delays or issues.
• Handle any issues that arise during installation and field after-hour communications.
