About the position

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing various IT projects within a software solutions company that has experienced significant growth. This role involves managing project scope, requirements, and deliverables while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. The Project Manager will work under the guidance of a Senior PM and will be part of a high-performing team committed to fostering a respectful and valued work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of one or more IT projects.
• Interact with mid-level officials at user agencies and private sector.
• Define project scope, requirements, and deliverables with clients.
• Develop and modify project plans to meet objectives.
• Implement project plans and coordinate project activities.
• Monitor project activities and resources to mitigate risks.
• Implement quality assurance processes and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Conduct analytical studies and feasibility analyses.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Participate in change control and implement information systems security plans.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience applying PM principles and tools.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a lead capacity.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of project management software such as Asana, Microsoft Project, or Jira.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certified Scrum Master preferred.
• Experience managing remote resources effectively.
