About the position

The Project Manager at ePATHUSA Inc will be responsible for leading and overseeing strategic initiatives within the Health Care Information Systems sector. This role focuses on supporting the University of Iowa Health Care community by ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the defined scope, all while aligning with the strategic plan of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that project goals and objectives are met within established time frames.
  • Preparing project status reports.
  • Managing resources effectively.
  • Conducting and facilitating project meetings.
  • Ensuring project progress is on schedule.
  • Addressing constraints and mitigating risks and challenges in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Project Management experience within a health care delivery setting (5 years required).
  • Demonstrated ability to engage as an individual contributor in successful project management and implementation (5 years required).
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), Master Certificate in Project Management, Public Health Certification, or Informatics Certificate, Prince2, AIPM Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM), ITILv3, Lean, Agile and/or Six Sigma certification (5 years required).
  • Project Management experience implementing and managing multiple large-scale programs/projects (5 years required).
  • Ability to lead process improvement activities to make enhancement recommendations and implement workflow and business process changes (5 years required).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong focus on customer service utilizing established PMO Program/Project Management methodology, processes, procedures, tools, and techniques to improve quality measures and metrics (5 years required).
  • Proficiency in key performance improvement techniques including current state assessment, KPI development, and workflow mapping/redesign (5 years required).
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with all levels of management and project team members (5 years required).
  • Demonstrated strong project management, organizational, and facilitation skills (5 years required).
  • Experience leading teams and people to successfully implement change utilizing a positive, can-do attitude to inspire others (5 years required).
  • Proficient in Project Management tools such as M365, MS Teams, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint (5 years required).
  • Experience with the concept of the PMBOK (Project Management Book of Knowledge) and applying project management principles, methodology & processes (5 years required).
  • Ability to simultaneously lead multiple small to large-scale projects (5 years required).
