About the position

Bonjoy LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of software solutions in the oil & gas sector. This role involves managing complex projects from inception to successful delivery, utilizing low-code development to enhance business operations. The Project Manager will be responsible for project planning, stakeholder communication, resource management, quality assurance, risk management, and budget oversight, while cultivating strong client relationships and staying informed about industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, outlining scope, timelines, and resource requirements for software solution delivery.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining clear & proactive communication to ensure project objectives are met.
• Collaborate with development teams, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to allocate resources effectively and meet project milestones.
• Oversee the testing process to ensure software products meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within scope.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and forecasts, making adjustments as needed to ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored software solutions.
• Stay updated with oil & gas industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed guidance and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills & the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with software development processes and technologies used in the industry (e.g., IoT, data analytics, cloud solutions).

Nice-to-haves

• Project management experience in software development and implementation within the oil & gas market.
• Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certifications.
• Knowledge of low-code technology platforms such as Mendix.
