About the position

The Project Manager will play a crucial role in alliantgroup's Energy Incentives (179D) division, focusing on planning and executing projects related to tax incentive deduction studies. This position involves collaboration with a diverse team of professionals, including attorneys, accountants, engineers, and architects, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a project's life cycle
• Build strong sustainable client relationships by anticipating and assessing client needs
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with project team and senior management
• Develop and communicate full-scale project plans and expectations to team members and senior management
• Discuss detailed and technical aspects of projects with clients, identify qualifying activities, and understand the construction industry
• Evaluate projects at each stage to identify potential areas for improvement and growth to achieve individual and team goals
• Plan and schedule strategic project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Set and continually manage project expectations, identify opportunities, and devise contingency plans
• Effectively motivate teams across departments, inclusive of external clients
• Drive results and innovate processes in a fast-paced environment
• Define project success criteria and disseminate information to involved parties throughout a project life cycle
• Create and execute next steps to meet all milestone deliverables while optimizing client benefit
• Deliver exceptional quality & experience to clients resulting in raving fans of alliantgroup

Requirements

• College degree required with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a project management or construction industry role
• PMP or Six Sigma certification a plus
• Proven track record of success in a project management role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High sense of urgency and expert level organizational skills required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required
• Experience working in the professional services industry preferred
• Ability to manage conflict and provide resolution
