About the position

Aguirre & Fields is seeking an H&H Project Manager to join our Water Resources team at our Sugar Land, TX office. Responsibilities

  • Provide project management expertise for design projects.
  • Oversee all aspects of project services per the client's contract.
  • Lead the project team to success by completing the projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure client and staff satisfaction.
  • Manage projects to plan, synchronize, and assign work based on individual project timelines and priorities.
  • Provide QC roles as required in areas of competency.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance as needed.
  • Perform Project Engineer duties as required.
  • Prepare project invoices and progress reports within the requested time.
  • Ensure QC is completed on managed projects per the latest company QC manual.
  • Serve as PM or task lead on pursuits as requested by the Communities Group.
  • Assist in RFP responses as requested by the Communities Group.
  • Assist in updating monthly workload and revenue projections and execute necessary initiatives to resolve challenges.
  • Prepare project scope, fee, and schedule as assigned.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules, and proactively identify challenges to be mitigated.
  • Maintain project awareness and discuss details of the project with clients or staff.
  • Assume other duties as directed by the Team Lead.
  • Support and maintain the morale, welfare, professional development, training, and work-life balance of all assigned staff utilizing the Company's Character Qualities.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, practices, and rules.
  • Serve as an example of proper conduct per Company Guiding Principles.

  • Perform R&D Responsibilities as programmed in the annual goals.
  • Dedicate Research & Development time as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
  • Registered Professional Engineer required.
  • Project Management experience is preferred but not required.
  • Relevant design experience.
  • Software experience in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D, HY-8, GEOPAK Drainage, and XP SWMM.
  • MicroStation (preferred) or AutoCAD Experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
