About the position

The Project Manager at Branch is responsible for overseeing all operational and management activities related to assigned projects. This role involves close collaboration with project leadership and staff to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary contact for various stakeholders, including owners, subcontractors, and suppliers, and is tasked with fostering strong business relationships while managing project resources effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing, training, and mentoring the PE staff
  • Advise on business functions including workforce management, contracting strategies, and financial management
  • Support preconstruction activities including design-build procurement
  • Develop new business opportunities and foster positive owner relationships
  • Ensure effective project administration regarding contracts between the Owner, GC, and the Company
  • Manage all aspects of the project's contract management, planning, scheduling, budget, quality, safety, and employee development
  • Oversee profit margins and manage all financial aspects of assigned construction projects
  • Aid in the timely drafting and execution of subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Review and approve monthly subcontractor pay requisitions
  • Develop and update project schedules in conjunction with project staff
  • Prepare monthly project financial projections and reports
  • Communicate changes and report project financial status monthly
  • Develop effective plans and schedules for project construction in collaboration with the Superintendent
  • Adhere to contract terms, assure quality, minimize costs, and promote safety

Requirements

  • Associates degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
  • 5 or more years of industry Project Management experience in site work including individual projects over $20M+
  • Experience using P6 scheduling software, MS Office, Financial software, and/or Project Management software
  • Proven experience managing project teams to successful outcomes
  • Must have PM experience running multiple projects simultaneously

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Construction or related field
  • Design-Build experience
