About the position

The Project Manager at Global Technical Systems (GTS) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Department of Defense (DoD) Product & Support Services activities for specific programs. This role involves ensuring that all project initiatives conform to established policies and objectives, managing multiple tasks across projects, and providing technical guidance and personnel management to meet contractual requirements efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manages projects from planning through delivery.
• Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs, and meeting plans are communicated.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
• Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks.
• Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.
• Monitors task completion status to identify at-risk project tasks and develops mitigation plans.
• Plans testing of engineering methods.
• Prepares technical reports or related documentation.
• Communicates schedule and changes to all stakeholders.
• Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusts allocations when necessary.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of Project Management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
• Technical experience or background in engineering, production, or product design, test, or manufacturing.
• Experience working with or on Department of Defense (DoD) Contracts.
• Knowledge of Build-to-Print based contracts or production environments.
