About the position

The Project Manager will oversee and guide projects within ATI, ensuring that program goals are met within budget and schedule constraints. This role involves collaborating with team members and clients, managing project plans, and providing leadership to ensure successful project execution. The position offers a hybrid work schedule and requires candidates to reside near Charleston, SC for flexibility in work site arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, manage, and guide projects and team members to accomplish program goals.
  • Review program and project contracts/agreements to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Establish, maintain, and review project cost/schedule baselines with the project team.
  • Review statements of work (SOW) with the Government and project team.
  • Track project scope, budget, and schedule using Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Review invoices for accuracy and evaluate cost variances.
  • Track project progress and deliverables to ensure timely completion and acceptance by the Government Project Agreement Officer.
  • Provide collaborative leadership and facilitate communication among customers, vendors, and users.
  • Create and manage project plans and timelines for successful completion of work.
  • Prepare technical and financial reports for the Program Manager for review and submission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and four or more related years of experience, or a Master's degree and two or more years of related experience.
  • PMP or other project management certification strongly desired.
  • Experience with basic and applied research and prior support to Program Managers in an R&D environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of the healthcare ecosystem including hospitals, academic medicine, and research entities.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentations, technical reports, and meeting management.
  • Strong computer skills including intermediate Excel skills and MS Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with large research and health-related programs.
  • Experience using project management tools and PowerBI is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in multi-organizational teams.
