The Project Management Specialist will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing various projects by coordinating with internal teams and third parties to ensure timely and successful completion. This role involves creating project plans, timelines, budgets, and communications while fostering collaboration within the organization.

  • Build workflow templates and detailed project plans using appropriate software.
  • Document decisions, maintain agendas, and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Present project progress updates to senior leadership.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and financials, including forecasts and invoice approvals.
  • Oversee the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and vendor contracts.
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement and manage cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with IS teams to develop technical solutions and specifications.
  • Provide regular project status reports and manage risks and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure alignment with industry trends and maintain competitiveness.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations Management or related field highly preferred
  • Minimum of three or more years of actual project management experience, preferably in a credit union or other financial institution
  • Experience with short range (one year) and long range (two to five years) planning preferred
  • Project Management Practitioner (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Eligible to work from home after training and management approval
  • Salary range: $29-$33 per hour
