About the position

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and construction of real estate facilities projects, ensuring that all project goals and objectives are met. This role involves managing various aspects of projects, including mechanical, electrical, and architectural applications, while maintaining budgetary control and coordinating resources. The Project Manager will drive projects from site selection to occupancy, focusing on tenant improvements in Class A real estate locations across the US.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project deliverables, including developing scope of work and scheduling project reports.
  • Oversee the development of drawings for clients and property/facility management teams.
  • Proactively manage project-related issues as necessary.
  • Ensure successful initiation, planning, execution, and completion of all projects against agreed targets.
  • Provide site assessment reports to clients to develop a comprehensive scope.
  • Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards for work performance.
  • Prepare agendas and meeting materials, lead meetings, and maintain master project budgets and timelines.
  • Provide lease review comments to align landlord and client requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project budgets from conception to completion.
  • Coordinate and track all vendor RFQs and RFPs.
  • Advise management on potential organizational changes and budgetary needs.
  • Review change orders and invoices, and manage project financial information.
  • Manage procurement and installation of furniture, signage, security, technology, and art.
  • Keep building management informed of project progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience in project management.
  • Solid project management skills with a strong understanding of the business.
  • Experience in client relations and consulting.
  • Ability to autonomously manage a complete project from onset to completion.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction specifications and blueprints.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of technical requirements for various project types.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with analysis and reporting.
