About the position

The Project Manager role involves coordinating various teams and managing project financials to ensure successful execution of contracts. This position requires collaboration with both in-house and client teams to meet project objectives related to time, cost, and quality. The role also includes responsibilities for financial reconciliation, vendor management, and maintaining project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform timecard validation on a weekly basis.
• Reconcile actuals to forecast on a weekly basis and follow up where necessary.
• Run actuals to forecast during month-end.
• Capture and make adjustments to forecast sheets.
• Perform monthly control processes to ensure all contract resources are accounted for and allocated to full capacity.
• Run monthly reports for resource managers to validate resource allocation.
• Make adjustments per requests from resource managers.
• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating the in-house project team for the assigned contract.
• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating the client’s team to ascertain contract time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Develop an understanding of the bid and contract documents.
• Assist the Project Manager in developing, tracking, updating, and reporting on the detailed project schedule.
• Assist the Project Manager in developing, tracking, updating, and reporting on the contract schedule of values and payment requisitions.
• Assist the Project Manager in the pricing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and sub-contracts.

Requirements

• Experience in project management within a contract environment.
• Strong understanding of financial reconciliation processes.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and manage project schedules effectively.
• Familiarity with bid and contract documents.

• Experience with vendor management processes.
• Knowledge of construction or engineering project management.
