About the position

As a Project Manager at HERCO, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects from beginning to end. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met, with the ultimate goal of completing projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Coordinate project activities and ensure that all team members, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines
• Monitor project progress and proactively make adjustments as necessary to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders, including senior management
• Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, electrical or mechanical engineering
• 3-5+ years of experience in project engineer and/or project management roles
• Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project / MS Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the manufacturing industry - machinery, installation of machine equipment, cell automation, maintenance or service sectors
• Enhanced MI driver's license or current passport
• Able to travel U.S. / Canada without restrictions

Nice-to-haves

• PMP or CAPM certification
• Experience managing projects with cross-functional teams
• German language proficiency
