About the position

The Project Manager at J. F. Ahern Co. is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects within the Fire Alarm and Special Hazards division. This role involves ensuring that all project expectations are met through effective planning, scheduling, fiscal management, and quality control. The Project Manager serves as the main point of contact for both internal stakeholders and customers, demonstrating outstanding customer service throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Administer the full lifecycle of projects within the Fire Alarm and Special Hazards division.
• Ensure project expectations are met from planning and scheduling to fiscal management and quality control.
• Coordinate all parts of the project throughout its lifecycle.
• Provide outstanding customer service as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in the Fire Alarm and/or Special Hazards industry.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience managing fire protection construction projects is preferred.
• NICET certification is preferred but not required.

Nice-to-haves
